I am a Cofounder & Chief Scientist of Intellifusion (listed in 2023). Previously I was a founding member of Snap Research (Snap was listed in 2017), Los Angeles, CA, and served as Chair of Computer Vision from 2015 to 2017. Prior to joining Snapchat, I was a Research Staff Member at NEC Labs America, Cupertino, CA. I did one intern at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center, White Plains, New York and two at NEC Labs America. I was leading the R&D of video analysis system at a startup company CREARO when pursuing my Bachelor degree. I am a Fellow of IEEE and a Fellow of AAIA. I received the Industrial Leader Award, by the Asian-Pacific Signal and Information Association. I also served as area chair for prestigious AI conferences such as CVPR and NeurIPS. I like to build things or organization from scratch.
